Hillsong Live - Healer (This Is Our God)

  • Quote of the day: All prophecy is the result of facts before the event. All creativity comes before the actual physical reality!
  • Scripture of the day : 1 Corinthians 1:28 says, "...God (has) chosen...things which are not (the invisible) to bring to nought things which are (the visible)."

You hold my every moment
You calm my raging seas
You walk with me through fire
And heal all my disease

PRE CHORUS:

I trust in You
I trust in You

CHORUS:

I believe You’re my Healer
I believe You are all I need
I believe You’re my Portion
I believe You’re more than enough for me
Jesus You’re all I need

BRIDGE:

Nothing is impossible for You
Nothing is impossible for You
Nothing is impossible for You
You hold my world in Your hands

Healings are in my pathway...

While I was away on holidays I did lots of second hand shops.. I love books, clothes, etc.. bargains.. I found the book.. "How to Heal the Sick" by this couple.. only a dollar!! I was absolutely thrilled.. I have heard of it before.. and would have ordered it from USA.. but I got it and I really truly believe God allowed that book to be there for ME!!

Now today in my email (I am a subscriber to the Elijah List) they sent a mail with links to Sid Roth's Messianic television program ~ Supernatural.. And this couple was on there sharing.. and I want to post the link here.. Please watch it.. My own husband and I need healing.. and so many need healing.. and it is possible for all things are possible for them who believe in God!! Because He heals the sick.. and Jesus healed the sick and He told us.. those who believe in Him we can do what He did..

I am so excited that I see God placing this stuff in my path.. I am excited that this stuff is available free to watch online by countless people.. and I am so excited in these dark days.. GOD HEALS the SICK and we are filled by HIS SPIRIT.. the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead!!

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Romans 8:11

Frances Hunter and her husband Charles have taught thousands of Believers how to heal the sick. In this special interview, Frances shares stories of some of the spectacular healings that she has witnessed over the years. According to Frances, if she and Charles can walk in these healing miracles, you can too!

Encouraging video and small update!!

  • Quote of the day: Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does. -- William James
  • Counting my Blessings I am thankful that God has richly provided for our needs!!

I haven't been here in simply ages.. but I have not given up on this journal or on healing!! Still getting people come by..  I know this sounds silly but after the wonderful holiday we had as a family I have felt a bit flat.. you know getting back into the rountine..

Justin himself has needed healing for his back.. he has not returned to work since arriving home.. Hopefully returning tonight.. he got some treatment done yesterday and is having pain free moments.. thank YOU LORD!! I sent every one that I know who prays a request for him.. a few replied and one or two have asked about him since.. Prayer does connect us.. because in pain we tend to ask for prayer.. and contact others to pray.. I only wish people contacted each other a bit more after that... Ha.. I can see people very much want to know people care they are not always good at showing it though.. we can get so busy.. the personal message does really mean so much!!

I was sent this on face book and it is so simply done but the message is very powerful!! I hope it blesses someone!!

God does love you very much.. we may not always understand His ways or the timing.. but as you can see from these people.. Knowing God changes our lives!!

Testimony of a Resurrection: Stillborn Baby Raised by Praying Teens after 27 Hours

  • Counting my Blessings Thanking God for a family holiday our family is on at the moment.. in Qld Australia!!
by Aimee Herd : Jul 3, 2008 : David and Kathie Walters Ministries

http://www.goodnews.netministries.org/goodnews.html

"The other villagers came to the house to see this amazing miracle. They asked us which of the Indian gods we had prayed to for such a miracle to happen. We told them we had prayed to the biggest God ever and we began to explain to them about Jesus."

EDITOR'S NOTE: Kathie Walters Ministries has forwarded an amazing testimony involving teenage prayer warriors on a mission trip to Guatemala. God is doing great things among those who are willing to be used of Him. I am reminded of Habakkuk's prayer: "LORD, I have heard of Your fame; I stand in awe of Your deeds, O LORD. Renew them in our day, in our time make them known…" May we ALL be willing to be used by God to bring life in a world filled with death. –Aimee Herd, BCN.

Dear friends,

This is a testimony from a young lady in our church (14), who was part of team used by God to raise a stillborn baby from the dead in Guatemala. We know this young lady personally. Her character and integrity are without reproach. You are about to read a bonafide, contemporary Lazarus resurrection story. This is as close to the flame of a literal resurrection from the dead as we have ever been!

BIG blessings,
Dave and Anita

Testimony from Abby:

"My name is Abby. I am 14 years old. I live in western North Carolina. During the summer of 2008, I went on a ministry trip to Guatemala. During part of the trip, we divided up into small ministry teams (5 to 7 people) and visited different villages in the San Pedro La Laguna area. We traveled from village to village telling the Indian people about Jesus. On one particular day, we were visiting in the home of a young woman. She lived in a small village of about 14 or 15 houses. We were trying to lead the young lady to Christ, but it was not going very well. After awhile, we decided to move on. Before leaving, we asked the woman if we could pray with her about anything in her life. She told us that just the day before, she had given birth to a stillborn baby and that we could pray with her about that.

"In Guatemalan culture, there is great shame and condemnation on mothers who give birth to deformed or stillborn children. We prayed a simple prayer that everything would go well with the funeral and burial of the baby and that the mother would be spared the shame and condemnation associated with having given birth to a stillborn child. As we were praying this simple prayer, my friend and fellow ministry team member, Julia (age 17), told me that we needed to pray over the baby's body. I thought she was crazy to suggest this and that it was not a good idea. Julia was persistent. She said again that we really needed to pray over the baby's body. She told me to ask the mother if she still had the baby's body. When I asked, the mother told us the baby's body was wrapped up in a burial cloth in the back room. I asked her if we could pray over the body. The mother hesitantly said, yes. We went into the backroom and saw the baby's body wrapped up in a bundle on the bed. Julia poked her head out of the back room and asked if she could unwrap the baby's head. The mother said, yes, if we wrapped it back correctly when we were done. Julia picked up the body and unwrapped the head. The baby's head was tiny and pale. The baby was stillborn and had been dead outside the womb for 27 hours. Her skin had turned shades of purple. Our entire ministry team, five of us, began crying and praying over this baby.

Praying/file photo"We prayed for thirty to forty minutes. At the end of that time, Julia screamed out to God, telling Him that she believed with all of her heart that this baby could be raised from the dead. After Julia screamed out, everyone was silent. We were quietly interceding and praying. Within a few minutes, the baby started moving. Then the baby coughed and began crying. The mother came rushing into the room. She was screaming, what is going on? No one could answer her. We were just staring at the baby, who had come back to life. The mother asked us again, what is going on? She began crying as she saw that her baby was alive. She ran out of the house and banged on every door in the village, telling all of the people that God is real because her baby was alive. Within about thirty minutes, the baby's skin tone and movements had become completely normal.

"The other villagers came to the house to see this amazing miracle. They asked us which of the Indian gods we had prayed to for such a miracle to happen. We told them we had prayed to the biggest God ever and we began to explain to them about Jesus. Soon, we realized we would not have time to minister salvation to each person individually. So, we gathered all the villagers together, turned on our little sound system and explained the way of salvation. Everyone in the village, 80 to 90 people, prayed to receive Jesus. Each of them was baptized in the Holy Spirit and began speaking in tongues. Many would fall to the ground as the power of the Holy Spirit came on them.

"Five days later, we returned to the village to check in on the mother and the baby. The village had prepared a big dinner in honor of our team. We enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship together. The baby, whom they named Julia, was perfectly healthy and had gained weight. Even after five days, the mother was still shaking from the impact of God on her life through the resurrection of her child. Two days after our follow-up visit, the mother brought baby Julia to church. The mother was still shaking from the power of God on her life following this astounding miracle."

-Abby

Say What God Says

  • Quote of the day: Do not be discouraged at your faults; bear with yourself in correcting them, as you would with your neighbor. Lay aside this ardor of mind, which exhausts your body, and leads you to commit errors. Accustom yourself gradually to carry prayer into all your daily occupations. Speak, move, work, in peace, as if you were in prayer, as indeed you ought to be. -- François Fénelon
  • Counting my Blessings That my husband has been such a help while the children and I have been ill.
Reading a book called "Breaking Free ~ Making Liberty in Christ a Reality" by Beth Moore

This is where it comes from!! Page 98 to be exact!!

Whenever the enemy tries to use your physical lineage against you, use your spiritual lineage against him!

Why?

Who I am in Christ is who I am!!

Satan can tell me all manner of lies about what he says I am.. and so can others.. I don't have to be depressed, raging, down, defeated, overwhelmed, stirred up, defensive.. etc

I just have to calmy say what God says!!

That I am a blood bought child of God.. purchased and redeemed and completely cleared of all charges.. I have a whole new heritage now thanks to Jesus Christ!!

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

Healing Waters

Today three in our family are home ill with the flu.. Myself, Sebastian our oldest and Keanu our third child who has been sick since the midst of last week.. Thankfully my husband has a day off work and got the other three children off to school.. My parents came and made beds upstairs as well this morning.. I am well taken care of.. Praise God!!

This is a beautiful song by Michelle Tumes called Healing Waters.. I was reading these scriptures today and they tie in so well.. from John 7: 37-38

On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him."

More from Jesus about what He has to offer us.. from John 4:13-14

Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."

On our own we would dry up so quickly because the sources we draw from do not satisfy and they are so short in supply, sometimes so much work to drink from.. they are likened to stagnant pools.. Keeping us alive and that is about it.. but coming to Jesus and drawing from Him brings refreshment, satisfaction and strength to continue on.. We find that He is with us at every step.. even in dry and hot places.. difficult places.. dangerous places.. a life giving drink is always available!! In fact we can jump right on in to be totally immersed in Him and all He is!!

Lyrics to the song above..

Michelle Tumes ~ Healing Waters

I've built a bridge
All of my strength cannot cross over
I stand at the edge
The end of a road that I have followed
Sinking from the weight of my own world
Wanting the waves of Your ways to wash my feet

Healing waters
Healing waters
Solace flows
Through the river of forgiveness to my soul
Oh, I need You
Healing waters

Pour over me
Water to clean all my intentions
Baptising streams
I swim in the freedom of redemption
Floating on the sea of purity
Knowing I can dive in the love that rescues me

Memories are raging high
Floods so deep they touch the sky
All the things I've done to You
All the parts of life untrue
Healing comes from outstretched hands
Saving me from what I am
Carry me
Carry me

Who I Am Makes A Difference!!

  • Quote of the day: In every generation there are the few like Abel who “although . . . long dead, still speak to us because of his faith” (Hebrews 11:4). Determine to be a man or woman like that.
  • Counting my Blessings That I am part of the family of God!! I am His daughter.. His child.. and know that HE loves me more then I can even understand!!

In the words of Jesus “You are the light of the world – like a city set on a mountain, glowing in the dark for all to see. Don’t hide your light under a basket! Instead, put it on a stand for all to see, so everyone will praise your heavenly Father” (Matthew 5:14-16). As a child of God you bring light wherever you go. The darkness has to flee when you show up! Never despair! Stay the course if you are the only Christian in your home, school, or work. The place where you live is a dark place spiritually, but it is also full of light: you and all other believers whom Jesus calls “a light set on a hill that cannot be hid.” Let the light of Jesus shine out of your life wherever you live. Through your life God has an open door to your family, neighbors and community. Let the light loose! Remember the Father’s pointed words: “The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him” (2 Chronicles 16:9). You are never alone!

****

You can make a difference when the full power of God dwells within!!

****

Your presence in the world forms
and fashions a significant and vital portion of God’s kingdom on this earth RIGHT NOW.
You are not just a shell that He fills; no, you are NEW CREATURE that has new DNA.
You are no longer human, you are now a new species, one He calls SON or
DAUGHTER, a bride espoused to His Son Jesus.  His enjoyment over you is full, rich
and with much emotion.  Do you hear Him singing and dancing over you?

I found the two bigger paragraphs written at the site below.. where you can find more wonderful encouraging words...
