Welcome to my on-line journal.. I am a 38 year old married mother of 5 children on earth (1 in heaven) and our family lives in Victoria Australia. I am a believer in the Almighty God and live my life to further His Kingdom on earth!
This journal was formerly called Gods Child.. but now is being called The Healing Place.. I have been thinking about this change for awhile.. God has been leading me to pursue his healing presence and I cannot but share what I am finding out!!
I pray that Gods healing presence becomes real to you too.. and that through a greater knowledge of who God is and what He has said and the testimonies shared that you too can find spiritual and bodily healing, blessings and encouragement..

Heaven Is SO Real...

Last night I watched a dvd by Choo Thomas.. from the book "Heaven is So Real".. I bought the book for fifty cents at an op shop yesterday!! And in the front cover was a dvd with the author talking about heaven and her experiences with seeing Jesus in her spirit body!!
Of course there is alot more I could write here about my feelings watching that.. but that is not the point of this writing.. But that through the watching of that.. and one of the places she said Jesus took her being Hell.. I was obviously troubled in spirit because I woke up frantically praying for everybody I could think of.. including my slumbering husband beside me..
When the tiredness of my body started to overcome me.. I suddenly slowed down my speaking prayers which of course were in my mind so as not to wake my husband.. and became aware of a peace with me.. And then my spirit started talking to Jesus, that is all I can sumise that it was.. because it seemed to come from me but I know I wasn't aware of saying the words.. I couldn't see anything but my spirit was now at peace and I was talking to Jesus.. I was breathing easier and I started conversing with Him.. It was almost unreal but yet it was very real.. You know at the moment I started talking to Him.. and I really cannot remember now alot of it.. but I do know this.. I was not worried anymore.. and I was enjoying it.. Scriptures would also come to mind too as we conversed witch my spirit seemed to nod at and agree.. Wether in the conversation or not I am not sure.. One thing I remember is that my spirit wanted Jesus to hold my hand.. I don't even know why I would say that.. I am not normally a touchy feely person.. but my Spirit seems different to the flesh me.. I did feel a real.. this might sound silly.. holy enveloping warmth holding me.. all over at one point..
This lasted for ages.. talking back and forth in spirit.. till my alarm clock went off.. I don't even feel overtired considering I was semi awake.. It was not like prayer really in that sometimes my prayers seemed forced or I am distracted sometimes and also that I don't always have the words.. more like talking to a friend.. and YES YES YES Jesus was talking with me which thrills me.. I do remember asking about my husband and how and what I could do to help him become a Christian.. Jesus said He would not go against my husbands will.. but that He would clearly show my husband Himself in ways my husband could understand and then he would have to make a choice from that place.. I felt a burden off.. because it seemed very much not to rest on anything I was or wasn't doing.. He told me He loves my husband very much..
You know the things I would normally pray about.. didn't even come to mind!!
Jesus did tell me He was with me always and loved me very much.. and I said I don't want to lose this closeness.. or awareness of it.. He said I was to stay in love and focus on love.. then I would be able to be in the Spirit always.. I told Him something to this extent.. that I failed so easily.. He said.. in the flesh we fail.. but in the Spirit we are free from that struggle and we can stay in His rest always..
He said that the troubles would become more the more we knew of Him.. but that He is with us and will give us all we need at the right times.. I asked Him for more boldness because I am generally shy.. He said in the Spirit I am going to be bold and forward.. full of courage..
He helped me understand some other things too.. It was wonderful.. I talked a little with my husband about these things earlier.. he surprisingly didn't say anything much.. and also didn't mock me as he sometimes does when I talk of things of God..
How do I feel now since I have woke up?? That I want to do it again really soon!! Also actually when I sit here thinking of all that don't know God and have not felt or experienced Him this way.. sigh.. I feel overwhelmed that I cannot possibly help them understand how good He is and to know Him.. How does one do this?
Several Scriptures tell us that when we follow HIM we can expect troubles, even within our own kin. Tis true...yea, tis true. Glad you experienced this and thanks for sharing. Somehow HE will help us for all our days on this old earth!!
