In the words of Jesus “You are the light of the world – like a city set on a mountain, glowing in the dark for all to see. Don’t hide your light under a basket! Instead, put it on a stand for all to see, so everyone will praise your heavenly Father” (Matthew 5:14-16). As a child of God you bring light wherever you go. The darkness has to flee when you show up! Never despair! Stay the course if you are the only Christian in your home, school, or work. The place where you live is a dark place spiritually, but it is also full of light: you and all other believers whom Jesus calls “a light set on a hill that cannot be hid.” Let the light of Jesus shine out of your life wherever you live. Through your life God has an open door to your family, neighbors and community. Let the light loose! Remember the Father’s pointed words: “The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him” (2 Chronicles 16:9). You are never alone!

Very dramatic done this way!! It is very true...we do need to express our admiration and love for others. Even old grandmas like me still need that from our children too...relationships..no matter what kind, will not flourish without watering and feeding!!

Hi Elizabeth.. nice to see you here!! Love is the bond that holds us all together you are so right!! God bless you and your family.. isn't it amazing that it is half way through our year already. I am not here alot but praise God precious family like you still come past..
Our family heads for holidays on the 30th of this month.. two weeks away with Justin's mother and step father.. Be a bit warmer in Qld!! One home from school today.. flu like symptoms.. but praise God for prayer and a loving grandma to bring him his favourite things he likes to eat!!

I HAVE MISSED A FEW DAYS..... I CKED HE THE OTHER DAY TO SEE HOW MUCH TRAFFIC COMES THROUGH. I THINK IT WAS ON THE 19TH I HAVE OVER 2,000. I DON'T SPEND TO MUCH TIME ON HERE LIKE I USED TO..
THE PRAYER GROUP HAS BEEN PERKING UP.. I THINK I TOLD YOU I WAS GOING TO CLOSE IT. BUT THE DAY I WAS GOING TO DO IT, LISA G. CALLED AND SAID PLESE DON'T.. IF IT HAD NOT BEEN FOR HER PHONE CALL, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GONE....GOD SURE DOES WORK THINGS OUT, HE IS NEVER LATE BUT ALWASY ON TIME. AND HE WAS ON TIME WITH THIS, THAT'S FORSURE.
I AM GLAD THAT IT IS MORE ACTIVE AGAIN.. YOU CAN KEEP LISA IN YOUR PRAYERS... SHE IS BACK TO DRINKING AND SMOKING, BACK SLIDDEN... DOES NOT GO TO CHURCH.. CHRIS. IS BACK ON DRUGS AND MORE. BRADLEY IS HANGIN OUT WITH BOY THAT SMOKE POT. SHE TOLD HIM HE BETTER NOT START THAT. RAY'S BROTHER PASSED AWAY, AND HE HAS SOME OF THE ASHES IN THEIR HOME, SHE WAS NOT TO CRAZY ABOUT THAT.... I DON'T THINK I WOULD WANT SOMEONE ASHES IN MY HOUSE EITHER. CAN'T SAY I REALLY BLAME HER THERE, BUT SHE ISN'T SAYING ANYTHING, IT IS RAY'S HOME TOO.... SHE NEEDS TO GET INVOLVED IN A CHURCH....

Hi Phyllis.. wow 2,000 and you are hardly ever there.. Praise God.. I will pray for Lisa she is connected to me on face book now.. it happened just recently though I don't know how active she is on there!! Those things will only leave her more empty so but I am glad the group did not shut down, you all need each other..
