Sharon: Hi Joanne.. Closeness to God is wonderful.. but I want to get much closer yet!! It costs a great deal though.. because we must die to self.. Which is humbling.. because we think we know best and we don't.. and to totally look to God for everything just goes against our flesh.. but to know God more is the greater gift and He will help us with all things.. Healing of a guy with a missing ankle!! God wants to strengthen us!!

  • Scripture of the day : Matthew 8:2-3 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

I love how these things are coming to me so easily.. I don't even have to search for stuff to put here!! God really wants to heal us!!

I am reading a really good book by FF Bosworth.. called Christ the Healer.. As I was going from scripture to scripture and they soak into me.. because it is all based on the Word of God and wow the word opens up when you search it out.. This rose up in my spirit.. Knock and the door will be opened to you..

I am knocking on the door of healing.. and it will open and it is being opened to me..  And more then that.. is the thrill in my soul that God wants it to be opened too!!

Another verse that absolutely floored me.. had me just crying as I read it and I was so overcome that I could study no more just praise Him for what it means.. "For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the earth, to show Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him."  2 Chronicles 16:19

Just think about it.. To show Himself strong.. we know He said.. that the weak are to say they are strong.. and that in our weakness He is our strength..

So God doesn't want us to stay weak.. He is actually seeking us out with such longing.. that we would look to Him and He will strengthen us.. Why are we staying weak!!  To think God is searching for men and women.. boys and girls.. whose heart is perfected because they have given it to Him... We know we cannot be perfect on our own.. but in Him and by our faith in Him.. our whole body, soul and spirit can be strong!!

God seeks us with His eyes looking to and fro.. says to me.. God is dilligently looking for us to strengthen us and help us.. Wow He also says... He delighteth in showing mercy.. Micah 7:18
