What amazes me in the way God leads is sometimes the very least effort you put into prayer.. and for the very smallest of desires.. That we even think are not important enough.. God answers!!

I have prayed many elaborate prayers with what I felt were heartfelt cries and sighings sometimes sobbing on my face.. petitioned on and on for people only to have them die.. and other times just saying simple prayers and just believing as I prayed and they got better!!

This is one from the other day.. from a forum I visit.. To encourage your heart and mine!! That God answers.. and heals.. but it is often not because we pray elaborate prayers.. but we have know to ask, believing as we pray and then go on our way..

This is a very minor prayer request, and please attend to the others here before this as they are more important - that isn't me being humble, just candid.

I think I have gotten some sort of horrible flu/cold, as I was fine last night and now I feel rather horrible. I really don't want to be sick as I have a lot on at work, and my wife has some friends coming over this weekend and I would like to be at my best for them. So if anyone could spare a moment for a short prayer for my health, that would be really appreciated.

Sometimes I write the most elaborate prayers.. with scriptures and all.. LOL.. I think God has a sense of humor because the less I put into it.. just praying as God said.. Asking to recieve and thanking Him for it seems to work just fine!!

Father God I ask that this brother recover quickly!! Thank You Jesus for hearing me.. In Your name.. amen
