I woke up this morning with a voice in my ear reminding me all the stuff that isn't happening.. all my failures.. and the things that get my goat.. LOL.. things that annoy me about my life..
I started to take that on.. getting angry.. especially as some things happened over night that do sadden me.. but you know getting up angry... will not help.. if anything it will make things worse..
Sigh.. then I went on Christian forums a fav place I like to visit and I read a post from a friend who was speaking the most amazing things over her household..
I was on there for a little bit before getting the children off to school..
On my way home from school.. I started contemplating my attitude.. and how it was not helping but would hinder and indeed probably make the bad things happening even worse.. Yes i was angry.. dissapointed.. etc.. that is the truth.. and I do want certain things to stop.. and I don't always know how to help those things stop or even how to pray that they stop..
But I want to speak good things over my family and circumstances too and not let my attitude rile my family.. I want to treat them all as if they were Christ Himself!!
And so I confessed to GOD my faults.. and that I was grumpy a bit with my family and then said something to my husband that was not thought through with a Christ heart.. even though it might have been what my own heart felt at the time..
Then I went to my friends post and wrote agreeing with what she had said and spoke the same over my family.. and then wrote this too..
And I say.. my husband and son.. daughters and two other sons and myself are walking in the light as YOU are in the light.. and we have fellowship one with another.. Halleujah.. glory to GOD!! We are self-controlled.. confessing our sins to YOU LORD who is faithful and just and YOU have forgiven us and cleansed us from all unrighteousness!!
These are things in my pathway even just this morning that are directing my thoughts this way too.. isn't it amazing how GOD brings these things to you as you need them!!
This was in a devotional.. from Joseph Prince Ministries I get via email..
Psalm 91:14
14“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
And this.. a inspirational quote I get in my email..
How delightful is the company of generous people, who overlook trifles and keep their minds instinctively fixed on whatever is good and positive in the world around them. People of small caliber are always caring. They are bent on showing their superiority, their knowledge or prowess or good breeding. But magnanimous people have no vanity, they have no jealousy, they have no reserves, and they feed on the true and solid wherever they find it. And what is more, they find it everywhere.
And this is the scriptures my friend shared..
Psalm 128:1 How joyful are those who fear the Lord—
all who follow his ways!
2 You will enjoy the fruit of your labor.
How joyful and prosperous you will be!
3 Your wife will be like a fruitful grapevine,
flourishing within your home.
Your children will be like vigorous young olive trees
as they sit around your table.
4 That is the Lord’s blessing
for those who fear him.
This is what my friend wrote..
That's my husband. I see Him in there.
He's the man who fears the Lord and follows Him in all his ways. He enjoys the fruit of his labor. He is joyful and prosperous.
I am very fruitful! No, this doesn't mean I am bearing more children.
I am fruitful in producing spiritual children, leading people to Jesus, and fruitful in every good work. All that I do is fruitful.
My children's roots go down deep.
I heard Kelly Copeland Swisher say she looked up olive trees to see what it means here. I'll take her word for it.
Deep roots. Also, I believe it represents the anointing. My children have a strong anointing from the Holy Spirit. They are saturated and dripping with God.
This is the Lord's blessing for us. We fear the Lord and honor Him.

So you see... I today choose the blessing and not the curse.. to call things that be not as though they were..
1 Peter 3:9 Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will bless you for it.
